NORDSTROM FACEBOOK PROMOTION
Nordstrom’s sweepstakes partner asked us to help them create a unique Facebook promotion for their Wedding Suite collection. We collaborated with them to develop the ‘Style & Win’ sweepstakes, where users could style their own wedding look by picking out their favorite dress, shoes and accessories, and then sharing it on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest for a chance to win a $1,000 gift card.
The Result more traffic to the Nordstrom Facebook page and increased awareness and excitement about their Wedding Suite collection.
We created a Fangate page to give users incentive to ‘Like’ the Nordstrom Weddings Facebook Page. Once they liked the page, they earned a chance to enter the sweepstakes.
We designed the Landing Page to explain the promotion, and allow the user to browse through Nordstrom’s wedding dresses to begin styling their wedding look. A new designer was featured each day and the user could choose to style that dress. We followed Nordstrom’s Wedding style and guidelines to ensure brand cohesion, but created a campaign that still felt unique.
WEDDING LOOK COLLAGE PAGE
With the dress chosen, the user would then be taken to the Wedding Look Collage Page. Using a cool drag-and-drop interface, users could populate the sections on their collage board. The items they could work with were divided into Dresses, Shoes and Accessories, which were available on an easy to use tab system.
SHARE AND ENTER PAGE
Once their wedding look was complete, users were asked to share it on their Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest pages. This brought more exposure to Nordstrom, while generating excitement about the sweepstakes to the user’s friends and followers. They would then enter the sweepstakes by providing their information.
THANK YOU PAGE
As an added bonus, users were then asked to invite their Facebook friends to style their own wedding look for another chance to win. We also created a wall post avatar for the sweepstakes.
